Krithi Shetty marked her debut with the 2021 released ‘Uppena’ which became a smashing hit at the box office. Just with the success of her debut project, Krithi managed to sign back-to-back projects. She scored yet another hit with Nani’s ‘Shaym Singha Roy’ but her craze came crashing down after ‘Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali’ which ended up as a disaster. Her ‘Macherla Niyojakavargam’, and ‘The Warrior’ also failed utterly at the box office. The actress who scored a decent hit with Naga Chaitanya starter Bangaru Raju pinned all his hopes on ‘Custody’. Unfortunately, the film also failed to strike big.
Just when the actress is eagerly waiting for a biggie to get her career back on track, Krithi has reportedly grabbed a big opportunity. It is already known that ‘Custody’ director Venkat Prabhu is on board to direct ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay for his next film. It seems like the story requires two female leads. Interestingly, Krithi Shetty is now in talks for this film. Though the film bombed at the box office, it seems like Krithi Shetty has impressed the director with her acting skills and grabbed a big chance to share the screen space with a star hero.
