It has been almost three months since Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal was released, yet the movie is still getting a lot of criticism from the audience as well as from celebrities and prominent figures. It was Kiran Rao who recently slammed Ranbir Kapor’s starrer Animal. Now, after Kiran Rao, the late actor Irrfan Khan’s Wife, the well-known writer Sutapa Sikdar, gave her opinion on animals,
in the recent interview with the late actor Irrfan Khan’s Wife, Sutapa Sikdar, and son, Babil Khan, Sutapa was asked to name any overrated film or web series in recent times. She took no time to say “animal.” she took some time to think after saying Animal and assured that it is overrated by saying “I will go for that only.” Animal became hugely famous in the initial days of its release, but the graph came down as celebrities expressed their disappointment towards the movie.
In the interview, Babil Khan said some beautiful words about his father and how things have changed now. Babil said his father was a great friend to him. While sharing memories of his father, he said, “I’ve never laughed like that. I just don’t find things that funny anymore, and there’s this sense of, there’s a huge void of laughter. I have never found a friend or made a friend, or I don’t think I will ever. I’ll keep myself open to that possibility, but yes, just never ever had a friend like him.”
