Drishyam 3 is one of the most popular crime franchises in India. Later the film was recreated in Hindi with Ajay Devgan, Telugu version with Venkatesh, and Tamil version with Kamal Haasan. Following this super popular blockbuster, they even developed a sequel to this film and that directly launched on OTT in both Malayalam and Telugu but the Hindi version was released in theatres. After the enormous response to the sequel, the developers are ready to make part 3 as soon as possible.
According to the current sources the movie team is aiming to shoot this movie at a time in both Hindi and Malayalam. This objective is to give a spoiler-free experience to the audience of Hindi and Telugu languages. After Ott’s Success the audience is watching all language movies online. So, the adrenaline factor in remake movies is absent and in order to prevent such complications, Makers are intending to shoot simultaneously in both Hindi and Malayalam.
Recently these movie rights were bought by Korean directors and they are going to remake this movie in Korea. Drishyam 3 will be the final film in the trilogy and “what better than having an experience of chills and thrills without having a notion of what comes next,” the source said.
Drishyam 3 is slated to go on floors sometime in 2024 and the particular timings will be decided once the screenplay is finalized. Ajay Devgn is meanwhile gearing up for his next project with Vikas Bahl in London and will follow that up with Singham Again.
