The film Munjya revolves around the titular character’s obsession with love and his relentless search for Munni. Abhay Verma plays the lead role, a man possessed by Munjya. While he can see the ghostly figure, he struggles to convince others that the mischief happening around him is not his doing. Mona Singh portrays his mother, and Sharvari Wagh plays his love interest.

What sets Munjya apart is its use of cutting-edge technology. Munjya isn’t just any ghost; he’s technologically the most advanced CGI actor in India. The film becomes the first Indian feature to feature a full-fledged CGI creature throughout its runtime. As Dinesh Vijan, the producer, explains, “At the heart of it, this is Munjya’s love story, and it’s about his first love – Munni. However, he doesn’t get her! If you’ve ever had an obsessive lover or obsessed over anybody, you will understand his POV. If not his, Munni’s for sure.”

The teaser, released earlier, offered a tantalizing glimpse into the world of Munjya. In just one minute and twenty-three seconds, it left audiences curious about the relentless search for the mysterious Munni by this CGI ghost. The film promises to be a spectacle for children, the next generation, and families alike.

In the film, Sharvari Wagh and Mona Singh play characters who must grapple with the terrifying Munjya. Not only can he talk and move, but he also manages to strike fear into the hearts of viewers. The film’s commitment to cutting-edge technology elevates it to a new level, making it a must-watch for horror-comedy enthusiasts.

As the release date approaches, anticipation grows. Munjya promises to be a delightful mix of folklore, love, and spine-tingling moments, all brought to life by India’s very own CGI ghost on June 7, 2024.
