The Hollywood couple’s story began when Helen interviewed Martin during her tenure at At Random, a connection that eventually blossomed into something more. They exchanged vows on July 22, 1999, marking a new chapter in their lives. In time, they welcomed a daughter named Francesca, named after Martin’s maternal grandmother, solidifying their family bond.
However, Helen has faced a formidable battle with Parkinson’s disease for over three decades, a significant portion of her daughter’s life. Francesca shared that her mother, now in her 70s, sometimes grapples with moments of memory loss akin to symptoms of dementia. Yet, despite these challenges, there are moments when Helen emerges from these periods and is “fully there” for her family. Despite her Parkinson’s diagnosis, Helen continues to support her loved ones and has been by their side at public events, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her family.
His upcoming thriller crime drama Killers of the Follower Moon is scheduled to hit theatres on October 20 in the United States.
