Just like his father and brother, Akkineni’s young Hero Naga Chaitanya is also facing a series of disasters. The actor who faced back-to-back flops with ‘Thank you and ‘Laal Singh Chadda’ pinned all his hopes on his recent outing ‘Custody’ directed by Tamil director Venkat Prabhu.
Even during the promotion of the film, the actor said that he is very much confident about the movie but the film ended up receiving a negative response from the audience from day one. The film is still in the theatres and is on its way to ending up as yet another disaster in his career. Naga Chaitanya is quite disappointed about the result of the movie.
On the other hand, Chay is all set to mark his debut on the OTT platforms with his upcoming web series ‘Dootha’ on Amazon Prime Video. The shooting of the web series is already completed. The makers have already introduced most of the characters from the series. Being made on a huge budget, the web series is reportedly going to get postponed. It is evident that Naga Chaitanya’s market is very less at this moment after three failures. So, it seems like the makers wanted to postpone the release because of his market. Also, rumors are up that Amazon is not completely satisfied with the final output and suggested some crucial changes. So, the makers are yet to clarify the release date.
