“He can be my wingman any time,” says Tom Cruise about King Charles III

We all know how Tom Cruise is, don’t we? But, for the sake of it, let’s hop onto his introduction.

Tom Cruise is a popular American Hollywood actor. He’s one of the highest-paid ones. Reportedly, his films so far have collected over $11.5 billion worldwide. Sounds like a lot? You haven’t heard about his net worth yet. It’s $600 million in the span of 3 decades. Imagine your talent being monetized to that extent. Cruise took ‘fantasy’ and converted it into reality.

Since 2 days, King Charles III’s coronation is a huge conversation starter. As a tribute to him, Tom Cruise created a customized video. Uploaded by Daily Mail on YouTube, the clip begins with a dusty sky. Soon enough, Tom Cruise is seen from afar, riding his Iconic Top Gun plane, shining in silver and red. He then says, “Pilot to pilot, Your Majesty, you can be my wingman anytime.”

For the unversed, a wingman is a second pilot that is in another airplane flying beside the primary airplane to safeguard it in an emergency hostage situation. In simple words, a wingman is the one who has the pilot’s back at all times!

Revelations say that King Charles received pilot training from the Royal Air Force in the 1970s. So technically, he is trained to be a wingman. However, Tom also meant the ‘wingman’ title metaphorically. He’s implying that he trusts King Charles to be by his side, keep his back and protect him.

This unique and creative way of congratulating King Charles has won over the internet and of course, King Charles’ heart as well.
