Farah Khan reveals that she did not want to cast Katrina and Deepika in her films! Here’s why

Farah Khan said ”I think An actress in Bollywood should be good-looking and should be able to serve the magnetic screen presence and have a certain carriage that captivates audiences”. Using Deepika as the epitome of this definition, Farah emphasized that the actress is a full package – her striking looks, her acting prowess, and her ability to set the dance floor on fire, she has it all.

Deepika Padukone:

This Filmmaker has launched many actors and they are doing wonders in their respective careers. In a recent conversation, Farah revealed a shocking experience with her fans. She revealed that she did not want to launch Deepika Padukone in the film ‘Om Shanti Om’ beside Shah Rukh Khan. This actress said, ”Casting heroes is on a different level, Who will give money? But casting heroines is way better I Initially did not want to cast Deepika Padukone but As Shah Rukh was the male lead, I could take the risk of launching a new actress.”

Katrina Kaif:

Farah also made the film ‘Tees Maar Khan’ which did very well at the box office and Katrina’s ‘Sheela Ki Jawani’ is a blockbuster that stays rent-free in every guy’s heart. But for this, Farah initially was not at all interested in casting Katrina for this film, she always tried to get some other actress in her place but it ended up being Katrina and this film gave her nation wide recognition and rose to fame.
