Sydney Sweeney Talks About Dating Her Co-star:
Sydney Sweeny, known predominantly for her role as Cassie in Euphoria, starring Zendaya as the lead, is geared up for her next release, a rom-com film titled Anyone But You. The actress has been making headlines recently due to rumors regarding her off-screen romance with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell.
The two were spotted on several occasions being cozy and close, which created controversy as the two are in relationships with other people. Sweeny has been engaged to Jonathan Davino since February 2022 while Powell recently ended his four-year relationship with Gigi Paris this year. Gigi and Glen split soon after the former visited her boyfriend and Sydney on the movie’s sets.
Many believed that Sweeny caused the breakup as Paris unfollowed her shortly after. Finally, Sweeney spoke, addressing the rumors, saying, “It’s a rom-com. That’s what people want! Glen and I don’t really care,” she said, referring to their upcoming romantic comedy film which is all set to release in December this year.
“We have so much fun together, and we respect each other so much; he’s such a hard worker, and I’m a hard worker,” she added that they’re excited about the press tour and that they talk all the time. Sweeney also revealed that it’s funny because she doesn’t mind leaning into the narrative being spread around. “They want it. It’s fun to give it to ’em,” she said.
