It is said that the role of Samyuktha Menon in the movie Devil was initially offered to the current top actress, Mrunal Thakur. Mrunal has gained an enormous fan following in Telugu states with her fantastic performance in Sitaramam and has received many offers from the Telugu film industry, one of them also being Devil. According to the reports, Mrunal Thakur has rejected the offer to play the lead role in Devil for some reason, resulting in Samyuktha grabbing the project.
Mrunal Thakur has bagged one more hit, Hi Nanna, alongside Nani, and has received tremendous appreciation for her acting in the film. The actress will be next seen romancing Vijay Devarkonda in Family Star, helmed by Parasuram, which is expected to be released in 2024.
