Following the blockbuster success of Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his upcoming film Dunki. The actor has joined forces for the first time with acclaimed director Rajkumar Hirani.
Shah Rukh Khan has shared new posters of his upcoming Dunki marking the occasion of Diwali. He captioned it as, “Bina aisi family ke, kaise hogi Diwali aur kaisa hoga New Year?” featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vikram Kochar, Vicky Kaushal, and Anil Grover. He ended the note by joking, “Asli maza toh saath chalne, saath rukne, aur saath hi celebrate karne mein hai… Dunki ki poori duniya hai yeh ullu de patthe!”
However, if one observes the posters don’t have a release date. Usually when new posters are released about an upcoming film, they make sure to print out the release date of the movie. The makers announced the movie will be out this Christmas but not exactly the date.
The film was slated to release along with Salaar as both the films clash in theatres. Salaar slated to release on December 22 may prepone their plans if Duni has to clash them and Dunki dispatched standees have 21 dates on them so it may be either of these dates but not a clash for both the high-scale movies.
