Farhan Akhtar a lyricist, actor, producer, filmmaker, and whatnot, this multitalented artist made smashing hits in Bollywood. He directed classics like Dil Chahta Hain and Lakshya which were commercially successful. He soon tried his luck in the Spy Universe through Don starring Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, and Arjun Rampal. The film also features Isha Koppikar, Boman Irani, Pavan Malhotra, Rajesh Khattar, Om Puri, and Kareena Kapoor. This made him familiar to a larger group of masses. Don the 2006 film made a whooping 100 crores at the box office.
Farhaan soon directed the sequel of the film Don 2 featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Irani, and Puri which was also termed as a blockbuster. Farhan recently was in the idea of rebooting his Don Franchise and it is finally happening but amidst the excitement, the film will no longer feature one of the top actors of Bollywood.
A few reports suggest that SRK informed the crew and Farhaan that he can not be a part of the film which made netizens feel awry. Reports suggest Hrithik Roshan is in talks for the film. A few also tweeted, “How can someone else play the part of SRK, Who can match his shoes.”
