Divyansha Kaushik, the actress who was born in Delhi made her film debut in Tollywood. Her first film was Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s starer “Majili” which was released in 2019. Though she acted as the second lead in that film bagged a few offers in other Telugu films as the main lead. Majili stands out as a Box office success and Tollywood got the new talent in the form of Divyansha Kaushik.
Meanwhile, she got a chance to act in Bollywood and she made her debut in B Town with “The Wife ” which was released in 2021. After the release, the film bagged mixed reviews. After her debut in Hindi, she returned to Tollywood to play opposite Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in Rama Rao On Duty in 2022. The film resulted in box office failure. And there were voices raised at that time, Divyansha Kaushik was not given a substantial role.
Later on, She got a chance to act opposite Sundeep Kishan in Michael which was released in this year’s early half. Unfortunately, this actioner also utterly failed at the theatres. A few days back her latest film, with lover boy Siddharth Takkar was released. The film received mostly mixed reviews from critics and audiences and even there is no space for the female lead in the story.
Except for Majili, her three films in lead roles flopped. Though she is a very talented actress, she needs some breaks to take her time in choosing scripts. She doesn’t have the ability in judging and greenlit the projects. If she overcomes this, she can be a top actress in Tollywood in the near future.
