Directors are interested to invest in Bollywood actors than Tollywood…?

During the Pandemic, the Entertainment industry has become more flexible and approachable. With regional content getting more recognition, the actors agree to do any restricted feeling, coming out of their comfort zone and approaching a new audience.

An inside source close to a production house revealed that Ravi Teja asked for a remuneration of Rs 28 crore for his next with Gopichand Malineni. The production house considered it risky after calculating the total budget for the film.

The film costs around Rs 115 crores, which is risky to recover in the regional market. The makers are in discussions to do the same project with Bollywood actor Sunny Deol. While MAss Maharaja asked for 28 cr, Sunny asked for 42 crore post Gadar 2 success.

Even though it’s 14 crores more than what a Telugu actor asked for, producers of this project are considering it would be wise to do the film in Hindi, which would help recover costs, rather than doing it in Telugu. Buzz is that even Gopichand wanted to test his luck in Bollywood and agreed to do that.

In Bollywood, the market for heroes is higher than the film market, so higher remuneration is valid for an actor with a good market than higher remuneration for a less-market actor.
