One of the talented directors Teja who has been away from films lately is claiming that SS Rajamouli is the King of Indian Cinema. Recently, while talking in an interview, Teja made some interesting comments about the ‘Baahubali’ director.
“Only due to Rajamouli, the Indian culture is reaching foreign lands. If he makes a couple of movies like ‘RRR’, then the dollar rate will also get dropped,” said Teja.
“Foreigners showed Indians as slum dogs in the movie and won the Oscars but Rajamouli showed our culture with a lot of pride and won the award,” added Teja.
When asked if more filmmakers like Rajamouli will enter the industry, Teja said, “Yes, Rajamouli laid a path and a lot of people will try to follow it”. When asked about new directors trying to strike big like Rajamouli with their debut films, Teja claimed that reaching such heights as Rajamouli instantly is impossible and they may fall down quickly. He stated that the director’s graph needs to increase slowly just like Rajamouli’s career. It is evident that Teja is all praises for the star director.
