Jawan is an upcoming film by Shah Rukh Khan under the banner of red chilies production which is being directed by atlee kumar. Meanwhile, the film is set to complete its post-production and was going release by June 2023. However, after certain data leakers made it widely on social media, the production business became concerned and filed a lawsuit against them in the Delhi High Court.
On Wednesday, the Delhi High Court ordered Twitter, a social networking site, to reveal basic subscriber information and other pertinent information on five accounts that were leaking excerpts from the upcoming film Jawan. Red Chillies Entertainments Private Limited filed a lawsuit against many shady websites and other social media platforms, trying to prevent them from violating its copyright in the movie. In that lawsuit, Justice C. Hari Shankar dismissed the application Red Chillies Entertainments Private Limited made.
The entertainment company’s attorney claimed at the court today that the new application was submitted because the questioned Twitter accounts had leaked further information. According to the attorney, the manner in which the information leaked showed that the users of the Twitter accounts may have “accessed systems” at the plaintiff company. Thus, the application asked Twitter to order the disclosure of the five Twitter accounts’ IP addresses, usernames, and other facts, such as basic subscriber information and other details.
