With the recent drop of the much awaited Jawan prevue, wreaking havoc and causing pandemonium, being the perfect blend of fast-paced glimpses and not giving away the plot, fans have started buzzing with theories about the movie. The film shows SRK in many avatars. There’s cop SRK, mummified SRK, mask-wearing SRK, military SRK and more, causing fans to draw conclusions regarding the plot of this anti-hero cinema.
Its great to see such well-cut trailers as it leaves room for the audiences’ imagination. Drawing from scenes in the trailer, we can see that there is a female prison where a baby is born. We catch Deepika Padukone looking beautiful in a saree beating up someone who fans claim is SRK himself and a group of women vigilantes including Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra who have SRK’s back. And Nayanthara looking bad ass.
Some of the most enthralling theories that are being speculated are given below:
1. Deepika Padukone plays the role of SRK’s mother, who gets imprisoned by antagonist Vijay Sethupathi and gives birth to SRK in the all-female prison. SRK then promises to extract revenge and becomes a police officer to eliminate the villain, only to have a near death experience. Just as Sethupathi thinks he has no rival, a bandaged SRK enters with his female backup and fans believe Vijay Thalapathy, in a cameo, to triumph over Vijay Sethupathi.
2. Keeping with director Atlee’s theme of his heroes playing double and sometimes a triple role, usually as father and son. Some believe that the film features father-SRK as a military man who is gravely injured on a mission and comes back to destroy his enemies with his female entourage only to, realize his son is on the other end as a law-abiding police. Though in this theory, Vijay Sethupathi’s role is uncertain, some claim that Deepika plays SRK senior’s wife and is killed by Vijay Sethupathi, causing the former to seek revenge, in a blood vs law and order trope.
3. Another thing, though not a full theory, that caught fans’ eyes was a tattoo seen on SRK’s head in the metro. What’s that about?
