Celebrities for beach clean-up
After Ganesh Chaturthi, Bollywood celebrities have gathered at the Juhu beach in Mumbai to give their hand at a beach clean-up drive. Every year, a certain number of celebrities decide to appear at the location and help with the cleaning. This time, we see Manushi Chhillar, Rajkummar Rao, Jackky Bhagnani, and Kubbra Sait investing their time and energy in a good cause.
Ganesh Chaturthi is tapering towards the end of this year’s celebration and like every time, the citizens have unfortunately managed to litter their surroundings beyond measure under the name of celebrations and Nimarjan, especially beaches. In India, the issue of alarming increase in the pollution at the beaches is hazardous, and despite several beach clean-up drives, people have managed to contaminate it again.
Celebrities stand on a platform where they can persuade people into doing the right thing, or dissuade them for stopping the harm they’re causing to the world. Whether they’re doing it for popularity or fame is secondary, primarily, it is surely sending a message out to their fans. Hopefully, they’ll realize the urgency of maintaining a clean environment.
Coming back to the work front of each of the celebrities present, Manushi Chhillar is popular enough to need no introduction. Regardless, for the unversed, she is the winner Miss World 2017 pageant. Post that, she also went ahead with acting and modeling. Her most recent work is a music video Ki Farak Painda Hai beside Vicky Kaushal for the movie The Great Indian Family, which released 2 days ago.
Rajkummar Rao is another self-made actor who has come in level with the star kids and people give him the deserving love and hype. He was last seen in Guns & Gulaabs with Duluqer Salmaan from Sita Ramam and his upcoming project is Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video with Tripti Dimrii.
Jackky Bhagnani gained popularity in B-Town as Rakul Preet Singh’s boyfriend, however, he has an identity of his own. He’s an actor and film producer who has starred in movies like F.A.L.T.U, and has funded Randeep Hooda’s Sarbjit, Jawaani Jaaneman, and is currently the producer of Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra’s Mission Raniganj and Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s Ganapath.
Lastly, Kubbra Sait is another actress who is underrated. She’s been a part of blockbuster movies like Gully Boy, Jodi Breakers, Sultan, Ready and Jawaani Jaaneman.
