Aryan Khan
Aryan Khan, eldest son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has carved his own path beyond acting. After graduating from the University of Southern California, Khan co-founded Slab Ventures and launched his luxury brand D’yavol. D’yavol focuses on a curated collection of fashion items, signifying Khan’s interest in the business side of the entertainment industry.

Though speculation surrounds his potential acting debut, Khan’s current focus is establishing himself as a successful entrepreneur. And Aryan is now all set to make his directorial debut with a series titled ‘Stardom’. On being asked about the work life balance, He said ”It’s always a pleasure and a learning experience. People talk about his work ethic, but experiencing it first-hand was really exciting. He has a wealth of knowledge, which makes my job easier,” .

Aryan expressed his favorite qualities from his father Shah Rukh’s and his role extends beyond being the face of the brand as he brings a little ‘sanity and maturity’ to his ‘edgy’ brand. He said, “Some things that would take me some time to wrap my head around were seamless for him. Our brand is edgy, so he’s around to keep some semblance of sanity and respectability, otherwise, there could be too much madness. Because we are an age-agnostic brand, I think we have an interesting balance: I have a more contemporary way of thinking; my father brings a dose of maturity into it. Having perspectives from both ends allows the brand to align with our collective vision as well, which is to appeal and cater to everyone, from a 10-year-old to a 70-year-old.”
Talking about the balance between the careers he chose as a director and a businessman ,Aryan explained, “They’re both creatively stimulating in different ways. As the creative director of the brand, I shoot the ads, as well as oversee the photoshoots. I’m very involved creatively, but not as much when it comes to the logistics. On the other hand, as a director I have to look into every detail, every shot and every angle.”
While Aryan is all set to make his debut with a unique story titled ‘Stardom’ penned by himself is definitely gonna be a great thing in the Industry and It will be financed by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
