Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been making headlines for a week. The director’s most talked about upcoming project, Baiju Bawra, is shelved for various reasons. The filmmaker is busy concentrating on the other ventures he planned and is working on post-production work of his web series Heeramandi.
His other project, Inshallah, which is said to be his ambitious project, is currently in talks with Shah Rukh Khan to be part of the film. The director is planning to start his next project irrespective of these two. Baiju Bawra is said to have around 12 songs.
The Gangubhai Kathiawadi director is silently planning for another script featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He is targeting to announce the film in March 2024. His Heeramandi is a story of courtesans starring Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Sonakshi Sinha and veteran actress Farida Jalal.
