Allu Arjun is currently occupied with Pushpa 2, and this is a keenly awaited film in the pan-India space. All eyes are now on the sequel, Pushpa 2, which will be out on August 15, 2024. The news was that Pushpa 2 had been postponed, but Allu Arjun’s team slammed the rumours and confirmed the release date.
There is a strong buzz in the film circles that Pushpa will also have a part 3, and plans are being made for the same. One of the sources close to the team says, “Though Sukumar has written Pushpa 2’s climax in such a way that it will leave a hook for the third part, the director feels that things can go wrong if the plot and characters are dragged way too much”.
Once Sukumar is done with Pushpa 2, he plans to make a film with Ram Charan as the lead, and the story discussions have already begun. Only a few know that Pushpa was scheduled as a solo film, but seeing the craze and span, the makers announced it as a two-part film.
On the other hand, the discussions for Pushpa 3 are now on between Allu Arjun and Sukumar, and we need to see if the third part will happen in the coming days. Allu Arjun wants the franchise to continue, but Sukumar is not too keen and feels the third part can be made after a few years, seeing the result of Pushpa 2.
Meanwhile, Bunny has already initiated talks with other directors for his upcoming films.
