After scoring back-to-back flops right from his debut, Akhil Akkineni finally bagged decent success with Most Eligible Bachelor.
Keeping apart hits and flops, except his debut movie Akhil, remaining all movies, including Hello, Mr. Majnu, and Most Eligible Bachelor, tried to showcase him as a romantic hero. Fortunately, Most Eligible Bachelor worked at the box office as well.
But now he is betting big with an action movie line-up. His next movie, Agent, is touted as the costliest action film in his career, directed by Surrender Reddy. And even before this movie’s release, it is heard that Akhil is holding talks with Tamil director Mohan Raja to do another action film.
Mohan Raja is currently working for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s God Father, and the film may hit the screens in August.
Meanwhile, the speculations in the film industry are saying that discussions of the Akhil and Mohan Raj duo are currently in the final stage, and the official announcement will get released very soon. So, we have to wait for more details regarding the film to be officially announced.
