Finally, we are here to share good news for all the OTT platform lovers. The Indian Epic Saga-based film Adipurush is locked on its OTT platform. According to the report, the film post-theatrical rights were sold to Amazon Prime Video, the leading OTT giant. Adipurush is the first direct Bollywood film for Prabhas. The film has been released today, and the theatres are filled with full occupancy right from the early primers.
The trade window policy for Bollywood films is at least 8 weeks from the theatrical release. So it is unlikely for Adipurush to stream online before those 8 weeks, which is nearly closes to 2 months after the release of the film. But our Tollywood policy stands for only 4 weeks. As we said, this is a Bollywood movie, and the official waiting time for the movie to come on OTT is 8 weeks. After that only, the streamer and the makers will announce a new date to air.
Donned by Om Raut, the film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and many others. However, the visual effects are not up to the mark as expected from the beginning. The other elements, Prabhas’ action, are the biggest assets of the film. The film is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair under the banners T-Series Films and Retrophiles Productions.
