“Tillu Square,” the sequel to the 2022 hit DJ Tillu, had an outstanding start at the Telugu box office. On its first day, the film grossed approximately Rs. 14.50 crore in India, with Rs. 13 crore coming from the Telugu states alone. Internationally, it grossed a superb USD 1.20 million, resulting in a worldwide gross of nearly Rs. 25 crore.

According to Indian box office tracker Sacnilk, The film performed well on its first 2 days at the box office and earned an estimated ₹ 21.6 Cr India net. Now, on the third day, the film collected Rs 11 crores with the majority coming from Telugu States.
It had an overall 64.98% Telugu Occupancy on Sunday, March 31, 2024. Morning Shows: 47.98%, Afternoon Shows: 67.87%, Evening Shows: 74.29%, Night Shows: 69.76%.
Despite high distribution costs, the film’s strong opening ensures its success, even with an ordinary trend. However, initial reports are positive, and the film’s holds on the second day are robust, indicating that it will perform better than expected. Coupled with its strong international numbers, “Tillu Square” is set to be a major box office success. However, the film couldn’t surpass the Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire box office Collections in Hyderabad and the film turned out to be the highest grossed film over the weekend.

Tillu Square is the sequel to the blockbuster hit DJ Tillu. While the first instalment has Neha Shetty in the female lead, Tillu Square features Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles.
The screenplay of the film was written by Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Ravi Anthony, under the direction of Malik Ram. Sai Prakash Ummadisingu was responsible for cinematography, and editing duties were undertaken by Naveen Nooli. Ram Miriyala and Achu Rajamani teamed up for the composition of songs for Tillu Square, while Bheems Ceciroleo handled the background score. The project was produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
