‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ roared to the top of the Indian box office on its debut Easter weekend, pulverizing competition including new domestic movie releases.

The movie had a great start at the box office and became the top film in the country for the week, making about Rs 39 crore, according to early estimates from sacnilk.com. It began with around Rs 13.25 crore on Friday, slightly dropped to about Rs 12.5 crore on Saturday, but picked up again on Easter Sunday to reach about Rs 13.25 crore, bringing its total collection to approximately Rs 39 crore.
“Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” had a 35.18% occupancy rate in English-speaking regions, resulting in daily ticket sales of about Rs 5.75 crore. The movie also attracted audiences in Hindi-speaking areas, consistently earning over Rs 3 crore throughout its opening weekend. It was also released in Telugu and Tamil dubbed versions, with the Tamil version performing better than the Telugu one.
