The movie “Crew” made a strong start, collecting ₹9.25 Crore on its opening day, as per Sacnilk.com. The film had occupancy rates ranging from 31.50% in Mumbai to 58.25% in Chennai.

Continuing its impressive run, “Crew” collected around ₹9.6 Crore on its second day in India. The film had an overall occupancy rate of 28.85% for Hindi audiences on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Morning shows had a 13.22% occupancy, afternoon shows at 27.19%, evening shows at 33.24%, and night shows at 41.76%. There was a noticeable increase in attendance during the evening, likely due to it being the weekend and positive feedback from viewers.

By the end of Saturday night, “Crew” had performed well in its first two days at the box office, accumulating an estimated ₹19.95 Crore net in India.

Producer Ektaa Kapoor took to Instagram and informed that the movie has collected ₹20 crore globally. She wrote, “Thanku INDIA !!!! My girls n our director showed d world how it’s done!!! World wide dhamaka! (sic).” According to the makers, the film has set a record by registering the “highest-ever opening for a three-female lead film worldwide”.

Crew Third Day Box Office

As of now, the movie “Crew” has earned around 0.15 Crores in India net, and it’s expected to have a strong showing on Sunday, adding to its impressive opening weekend numbers. The film aims to achieve a first-weekend business of around 33 Crores, positioning it as a potential success story for 2024.

Interestingly, “Crew” is also performing exceptionally well in international markets, which can be attributed to its star-studded cast and appealing genre. It has surprised many by not only having a strong opening but also maintaining its momentum at the box office.

The real test will be on Monday, which could determine the long-term success of the film. However, early feedback from viewers suggests that “Crew” is poised for a successful run at the box office.

Crew is helmed by Rajesh A Krishnan starring Kriti Sanon, Tabu and KAreena Kapoor as the main leads. The film also boasts cast featuring Kapil Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh.
