Adding to its triumph, “Crew” has now crossed the coveted Rs 100 crore mark at the global ranking.
Despite entering its second week, “Crew” maintained strong momentum, recording an India nett collection of Rs 5.79 crore on its second Sunday, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk. The positive response from audiences has fueled its success, propelling its India nett collections to approximately Rs 58.75 crores (Rs 70.50 crores), combined with international earnings of around 5 million dollars (Rs 42 crores).
It’s notable that “Crew” is only the fifth Bollywood film to achieve the milestone of crossing Rs 100 crore worldwide in 2024. It currently ranks as the fifth highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, trailing behind “Fighter,” “Shaitaan,” “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” and “Article 370.”
On its recent Sunday, “Crew” maintained an overall occupancy rate of 20.66 percent in the Hindi market. Morning shows began with an 11.55 percent occupancy, gradually increasing to 24.16 percent in the afternoon, and peaking at 29.01 percent during the evening. However, there was a notable decline in night screenings, with the occupancy rate dropping to 17.91 percent.
