Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut‘s Twitter account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter rules. The move came after the actor’s vitriolic comments on the post-poll violence in West Bengal, which sounded like a call to violence. Kangana’s tweets sparked outrage, with many demanding actions against her.
“Twitter has only proved my point that they’re Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do. I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice, including my own art in the form of cinema,” Kangana reacted to her ban.
But recently after Elon Musk took over Twitter, he started to revoke all the previously banned accounts of popular celebrities and politicians. During, which Kangana Ranaut’s account was reinstated on Tuesday. Kangna even posted “Hello everyone, it’s nice to be back here.” She even gave an update regarding her upcoming movie Emergency which will hit the screens on Oct 20.
Apart from Emergency, Kangana Ranaut is also part of Raghava Lawrence’s Chandramukhi 2.
