Kollywood hero Dhanush is all set with his film Thiru that has locked its release date in Telugu as August 18th. This film is directed
by Mithran Jawahar who has already scored three super-hits with Dhanush.
This film has three heroines, Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Despite being a noted hero film, the movie hasn’t gained any buzz in Tollywood. Also promotions are low for the film in Telugu.
Apart from this, another interesting news is that this movie is going to clash with almost 7 films releasing on weekend.
Yes, what you heard is right, there are total 8 films to release on this weekend including
Aadi Sai Kumar starring Tees Maar Khan is going to hit screens on the 19th. On the same day, Commitment, Wanted Pandigadu, Matarani Mounamidi, Aam Aaha, Love 2 Love, Na Ventapadutuna Chinnawadevaramma are the other films that are going to hit the theatres.
Though none of the above mentioned films bagged decent buzz, still it would be difficult for Dhanush’s film to survive at box-office unless the word of mouth is tremendous.
Because already Sita Ramam, Karthikeya 2 and Bimbisara are ruling the Box-office. Top of all, even Vijay Devarakonda’s Liger is going to hit the theatres on August 25th just within a week gap Dhanush’s film. So, we have to wait and see what will happen for the Dhanush movie in Tollywood.
