Krithi Shetty chose an ivory, pearl-adorned outfit for the Manamey pre-release event in Hyderabad in June 2024. The look brought a contemporary drape to a traditional occasion-wear silhouette. This gallery examines the outfit’s light palette, draped layers and decorative texture.
An outfit described in different ways
Filmibeat’s fashion gallery identified a Tarun Tahiliani pearl sari, while event coverage in The Times of India called the look a pearl-themed lehenga. Both accounts place pearls at the centre of the styling. We use the broader term ‘outfit’ here and focus on the visible draped shape rather than treating those labels as interchangeable.

Pearls as part of the drape
In our interpretation, small pearl strands follow the fabric across the torso. Their repeated lines give the pale outfit definition without adding another colour. A closer view is particularly useful: it separates the individual beads, embroidered base and softer falling fabric that can merge together in a full-length image.

Accessories at the right scale
Delicate earrings leave the embellished clothing in focus. That restraint is useful when a bodice and drape already contain a great deal of detail. To adapt the idea, compare the outfit in a full-length mirror and a close view: the overall silhouette should stay clear while the smaller decorative elements reward a second look.
