Samantha’s Time off From Acting; spends time in the cozy monsoon weather.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently took to her Instagram to subtly confirm that she is indeed taking some time away from movies captioning a post with her Citadel directors, “A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming”.
The Yashoda actress has had quite the last couple of years from non-sop shooting for Kushi and Citadel India to her taxing journey battling her health condition. Since sharing that she wrapped up Citadel, the actress has posted several stories giving us a look into her sabbatical; taking a long car ride while enjoying classic Tamil songs including Thalapathy Vijay’s Mellinamae, stopping for a quick visit to the Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple in Vellore with producer Jagadish Palanisamy and now spending some time at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.
The actress shared some lovely Instagram stories of herself, one with Palanisamy wearing an orange kurta and another enjoying the monsoon weather in a white kurta set, with her back to the camera. The picture shows Sam standing in a rain puddle surrounded by greenery and a beautiful blue sky behind her. Her loveable companions, her two pet dogs, Hash and Sasha, were also featured in one of her stories.
The actress seems to be enjoying her time in the serenity of nature. For those who don’t know, the actress was unfortunately diagnosed with the auto-immune condition , Myositis, that causes your own immune system to attack your muscles, causing inflammation. This, however, has not deterred the heroine, who continued to soldiered through her shooting schedules and now is taking some much needed time off.
Samantha seems to quite enjoy nature and spirituality, the supremely talented actress and philanthropist is often posting quotes and clips of Sadhguru’s speeches and is often seen visiting various Hindu pilgrimages and places for spiritual exploration.
Work front:
The actress is still posting some songs and snippets from her upcoming movie , Kushi, and will be seen in the Indian adaptation of Citadel which stars Priyanka Chopra. Kushi has released 2 songs so far, both of which have become a massive hit. The film is said to release on September 1, 2023. The actress is also sai to have some big announcement in 2024!
