Story:
Destined With You is a story connected by a book—not just a normal book but a mysterious one. Jo Bo Ah plays the role of the protagonist, Lee Hong Jo, while Rowoon plays the leading man’s character, Jang Shin Yu, a cold and successful lawyer. While Jang Shin Yu is cursed to die at a very young age, Lee Hong Jo is the only person who can save him. Will she save him? Are they connected by a tragic past? All these secrets unfold in each episode.
The drama gets interesting as the storyline develops in Episodes 3 and 4. As the leading lady tries her best to save Jang Shin Yu, the leading man still doubts if he will survive or not. Episodes 3 and 4 are filled with humor and funny cheezy lines that make the viewers crack up. To balance that, the upcoming episodes bring forth overwhelming drama.
Analysis:
Episode 7 :
The love triangle deepens and both the men almost get into a brawl as they care about Hong Jo a lot. The stalker on the other hand becomes a threat to her. Rowoon dominates over Jo-Bo-Ah’s performance. The love story after many twists and turns ends with a tragic end to Rowoon. The storyline is a bit more depressing as it feels like every other Rom-Com but Rowoon’s performance and the florist performance bring about a change for a while. The humor is broken and the leading lady’s character development is so-so.
Episode 8
The intriguing part picks up with the 8th episode when the stalker’s act brings the couple together. There is nothing much I can speak about in this episode as everything might end up as, a spoiler. Episode 8 adds to the entertaining part as the viewers get to a spark between the leads. The Office leads the change in plot and everything about it brings the essesnce of art.
