Rakul Preet Singh has broken the silence and opened up a challenging experience she faced in the very beginning of her journey. She said that she got replaced in a Telugu film staring Prabhas after shooting for four days. This incident happened before she made her debut in Tollywood.
The actress explained that she was surprised by the sudden decision of the director. Apparently, the producer wanted a well known and established actor for the role. However, Rakul said she didn’t take to the heart as she was then not accustomed to the working style of the film industry.
She reflected on this experience, saying, “When you don’t know much about the industry, you don’t take things to heart. There’s a certain beauty in being innocent and naive. I was so naive at that time that I thought, ‘Oh, they replaced me? No problem. Maybe this wasn’t meant for me. I will find something else.’” This attitude allowed her to stay positive and keep pursuing opportunities.
Despite facing early challenges, Rakul refused to give up on her dreams. She knew success wouldn’t come overnight, so she kept pushing forward. Her hard work paid off when she made a successful debut in “Venkatadri Express,” showcasing her determination and passion.
