Muskan Karia’s Instagram Earnings Explained

Muskan Karia’s monthly income has become a talking point because of her paid Instagram subscription. A visible subscriber count and a monthly fee make it tempting to calculate a large earnings figure. Yet the public discussion contains two very different things: estimates based on those numbers, and what the creator has said about the money she received.

That distinction explains why reports about her Instagram earnings can appear to contradict one another. Here is what the dated figures establish, and what remains unknown.

What has Muskan Karia said about her earnings?

Oneindia reported on June 1, 2026, that Karia discussed her subscription income during a livestream with creator Rachit Yadav, also known as Rachitroo. According to that account, she put her total subscription earnings up to that point at $1,500 and described monthly earnings of around $20.

These were reported statements about a particular period. They should not be presented as her current October income, her earnings from every source, or independently audited accounts.

The same report said Karia attributed the gap between subscriber numbers and revenue to people joining through a free trial and cancelling before payment. Her explanation concerns the conversion of trial users into paying customers, rather than the size of her public following.

Where did the ₹20 lakh estimate come from?

A later Mint report, published on August 14, 2026, listed 5,154 subscribers and a monthly price of ₹390 for Karia. Multiplying those figures produces ₹20,10,060, or approximately ₹20.1 lakh.

Mint described the resulting income figures as gross estimates and noted that actual take-home earnings could differ. Its calculation was not a disclosed bank payment or a verified subscription payout statement.

The dates also matter. The June account of her statement and the August estimate do not measure the same period or use the same method. Treating them as interchangeable would turn an estimate into a claim neither source establishes.

Why subscribers multiplied by price can mislead

A simple multiplication assumes that every person counted is billed at the stated price for the same month. To establish actual revenue, we would need to know how many successful payments occurred, which offers applied and what adjustments followed.

Consider a hypothetical subscription with 1,000 members and a ₹300 monthly price. The headline calculation is ₹3 lakh. If only 600 members make a payment during that period, the corresponding amount is ₹1.8 lakh before any other adjustments. This example illustrates the assumptions; it does not describe Karia’s account.

Revenue and take-home income are different measures, too. Applicable charges, refunds and taxes can affect the final amount. Without the relevant records, assigning a precise deduction rate would create another unsupported estimate.

What is her Instagram subscription?

Instagram Subscriptions let creators offer additional material to subscribers. Meta’s published description of the feature includes exclusive posts, Reels and a dedicated subscriber tab. These are platform capabilities; an individual creator’s current offering determines which benefits subscribers receive.

The ₹390 figure belongs to the August report. Anyone assessing the subscription should check the price, billing terms and benefits currently displayed on the account, rather than treating an older media figure as a permanent tariff.

How does this relate to OnlyFans?

Instagram subscriptions and OnlyFans both belong in discussions about audiences paying creators for access. The same question applies when assessing earnings on either service: does a number represent a public estimate, gross revenue or money actually paid to the creator?

The income reports discussed here concern Karia’s Instagram subscription. They do not verify an OnlyFans account or establish earnings from that platform.

Is Muskan Karia’s net worth known?

A subscription estimate cannot establish net worth. Income measures money earned over a period; net worth concerns assets after liabilities. Even a verified monthly payout would leave most of that calculation unanswered.

The available reports therefore support a narrower conclusion: Karia has discussed subscription earnings, and media have separately calculated potential revenue from public-facing figures. A confirmed current monthly income or total net worth cannot be derived from those reports alone.
