As he prepares for the release of Jigra, Vedang Raina recently acknowledged his respect for Hrithik Roshan and recalls not being “starstruck” when he first met him. For those unaware, Hrithik Roshan is called as Greek god of Bollywood.
Right now, Vedang Raina is anticipating the release of his next film, Jigra. For this action thriller about a jailbreak, the actor is collaborating with Alia Bhatt. Vedang has previously said several times how much he admires the actress. He recently revealed that he is a huge fan of Hrithik Roshan. Vedang, however, revealed that he wasn’t “starstruck” when he first saw him, calling it “weird.”

Vedang Raina said in a recent interview, that his first modeling job was for Hrithik Roshan in an advertisement. Speaking about his meeting with the War 2 star, the actor said, “But it is weird, although I have been one of his biggest fans since childhood, I didn’t get starstruck when I met him on set.”
Vedang further said that as a child, he used to see all of Hrithik’s movies in theaters, with Krrish being one of his favorites. He went on to say that since he was born in 2000—after the movie’s release—Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai was one movie he saw much later.
Speaking of his part in the Jigra film directed by Vasan Bala, Vedang plays Ankur Anand. The teaser of the film reveals that he is captive abroad. Alia Bhatt plays Satya, his sister in the film. She’ll put in a lot of training and effort to get him out of jail.
Jigar is scheduled to premiere on the big screen on October 11, 2024. it is written by Vasan Bala and Debashish Irengbam. Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, Alia Bhatt, and Shaheen Bhatt are among the producers of the movie, which is presented by Dharma Productions, and Eternal Sunshine Productions.
