A recent report suggests that the producers have decided not to provide PVR and a few other theatres with the film’s rights as they fear Raj Kumar Hirani’s, Dunki might have the upper hand in the collections and might become a disadvantage for Salaar. The film is set to release on the locked date, i.e., on 22nd December, in every theatre in the South, but has limited its release to only a few theatres in the Northern part of India.
The theatres, which have declined rights now, are reported to release the film later as the film’s team and the associated authorities are in talks to reach a solution.
