Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again Is Postponed

Shortly after the trailer for Ajay Devgn’s film “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” premiered, the actor opened up about his other highly anticipated project, “Singham Again.” Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie is expected to be a major hit upon release. However, Ajay emphasized that the team is not in a hurry to announce the release date, ensuring they do not compromise on the film’s quality.

Singham Again Not Releasing on Independence Day

There were initial rumors that “Singham Again” would hit theaters on August 15. These rumors have since been dispelled, with the latest update suggesting a new release date of November 15. Despite this, Ajay Devgn clarified that the release date remains unconfirmed. According to a tweet from Rahul Raut, the actor mentioned, “We are in no rush to announce the release date as we don’t want to compromise on the quality of the film.” The delay is due to ongoing work on the movie, making an Independence Day release unfeasible.

Pending Work Delays

The film’s production is still underway, with the cast and crew shooting some final scenes. This means “Singham Again” will take some more time before a definitive release date can be announced. Ajay Devgn reiterated that the date will only be confirmed once the makers are sure about completing the project within the desired time frame.

Speculation on November 15 Release

There has been speculation about a November 15 release date after a poster was shared with industry insiders. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted this tentative release date on social media, only to delete it later. The poster, intended as a working reference, indicated a November 15 release. However, no official confirmation has been provided by any cast or crew members.

Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe Expands

“Singham Again,” directed by Rohit Shetty, is part of his renowned Cop Universe. This means familiar faces are returning, including Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, reprising her role from “Singham 2,” and introduces new characters played by Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff. Deepika Padukone’s role as a cop hints at the possibility of her story being explored in future installments, while Arjun Kapoor is cast as the villain. Tiger Shroff’s role remains a closely guarded secret.
